MetroFramework Sliding Panel VB.Net

VB.Net – MetroFramework Sliding Panel

On my previous blog post I created a project that demonstrate on how to achieve a MetroFramework Sliding Panel using Metro Modern UI – Metro Framework and .Net Transitions.  And now I will show you on how to convert the C# version of MetroFramework Modern UI Metro Sliding Panel to VB.Net MetroFramework Sliding Panel.

VB.Net is a little bit different with C#.  In programming it is important to know on how a piece of code works and what is the logic behind.  Once you know the logic you can write it any language that you want.

Visual Basic .NET and Visual C# .NET, both are first-class programming languages that are based on the Microsoft .NET Framework, and they are equally powerful – From Microsoft

The piece of code below shows how to create and raise an event.

C#.Net Code

//New Event Closed
public event EventHandler Closed;

//To raised the Closed Event
EventHandler handler = Closed;
if (handler != null) handler(this, e);

VB.Net Code

Public Event Closed As EventHandler
RaiseEvent Closed(Me, New EventArgs)
