MetroContextMenu as DropDown Menu
Using MetroContextMenu as DropDown Menu
This will be a very quick tutorial on how to use MetroContextMenu as DropDown Menu. A context menu also known as contextual, shortcut, and popup or pop-up menu is a menu in Visual Studion that will appear when user right-click on a particular object or control.
Context Menu – Represents a pop-up menu that enables a control to expose functionality that is specific to the context of the control.
If you will notice I just reuse my previous project for MetroTextBox, if you haven’t seen it please check it out.
For this tutorial I just added a MetroLink and MetroContextMenu. And on the click event of MetroLink I just place this piece of code to display the MetroContextMenu.
ctxMenu.Show(metroLink1, 0, metroLink1.Height);
ctxMenu.Show(metroLink1, 0, metroLink1.Height)
To explain the code above we are just saying the ctxMenu (which is our MetroContextMenu) to show and use metroLink1 as a point of reference for the position and add 0 for the X and add the metroLink1 height for the Y so that it will display just at the bottom of our metroLink1.
